There are countless active wear brands out there and each one is different. They vary in price, design, purpose, and function. Certain brands do well for all women, while others seem to fit only specific body types.
I have compiled four brands that I have tried and love! These brands get a lot of points when it comes to what women need in active wear!
The four brands that get my sweat are Zyia, Old Navy, North Face and Senita Athletics.
Zyia Coral Sprinter short and Trucker Mesh Hat
Zyia Active wear is among the top brands for sure. The quality of the line is amazing. Every item that I own feels like butter. The shorts pictured here are the Coral Sprinter Shorts. These beauties have a thick waste band and boy shorts underneath that make you feel secure. The Sprinter shorts are about 2.5 inches in the inseam and run a bit small. These feel great on any run or for any workout!
The Mesh Truck Hat by Zyia is hands down my favorite hat! This is my go to for grabbing a hat for a run. The mesh material keeps your head cool! The soft inside edge feels good around your head and it comes in multiple colors and has an adjustable back! Pictured are the Camo (my favorite) and the pink!
The Zyia Bomber Jacket! Light weight with breathable mesh strips down the sleeves, this is a perfect fall and spring piece to add to your fitness wardrobe. The thumb holes help keep your hands warm and it has adjustable drawstrings on bottom of the jacket. It is easy to fold up so it can fit great in a gym bag! This comes in 6 other colors and it also come in little girl sizes!
The go to race shorts for me right now are the North Face Ambition Shorts. These babies have a thick waist band with a pocket that is perfect for your keys or a long run gel. I have yet to chaff in these. Chaffing can depend a lot on how much you sweat and what the humidity.
If there was ever a long sleeve shirt that is so versatile, it is this one! It has amazing ventilation and is perfect for the changing weather. This will keep you cool when you start sweating and keep you warm when the temps drop. I love this top so much!! The Chill top also comes in a tank top!
The Zyia brand is not sold in stores, only through an independent retailer. Guess what?? I am sharing my retailer with you! Her info will be at the end of this post!
My first pair of legit running shorts came from Old Navy! You would normally not think of Old Navy when buying running or active wear, but let me tell you, they make great shorts!! Check out all the colors in the link in the Title! They have an elastic waist with an adjustable drawstring. The fabric is super light weight and fast drying (affiliate link)
The Zyia Turquoise Copper charged Tank is wonderful! I actually wore this during my last race. It is very comfortable, light weight and because it is charged with copper, it keeps the smell away! It also has anti-chaffing properties and it well ventilated! This is a great top for all women!!
If you are looking for a brand that is affordable and great quality, Senita Athletics is it! Sentia Athletics was created by two moms who wanted to get back in shape after having kids. These two ladies could not find what they were looking for, so they created it! I am all about a brand that is geared to mommas! Their shorts are light weight and fast drying. Their pants feel so good and keep you held together. No slipping! The pants do not fall down on a run!! I have the Runner's Shorts, the Swift Shorts 3, and the Flash Shorts! For you glowing pregnant mommas, they also sell some amazing maternity shorts and pants called The Senita Mama Collection!
These are the four main brands that I use regularly! I hope this post has helped you find what you may need for your fitness journey! Here is my Zyia Active Retailer info! She is wonderful! Contact her to get some amazing items!
