I will be honest, I am not a teacher!  God has not blessed me with that ability and I am positive of that.  I believe God has given teachers a special gift, and the rest of us did not receive it.  That being said, I love a good teacher look!  I would assume that in order for an article of clothing to work for a teacher, it must be comfortable, flexible and affordable.
I used to dress up as a teacher when I was little, but that usually consisted of some sort of dress or skirt.  Now, I am seeing a lot more pants and jeans in schools.  I was recently asked to show some affordable decent teacher looks, so here goes!

The No Boundaries duster/cardigan.

For those chilly mornings, walking from your car to the school, a thick duster is always a good idea.  It covers your whole body and gives length. It also hides tushes and places of our bodies we may want covered.  This piece is also good for covering that section of the back that shows, when we bend over to look at a child's paper.
This No Boundaries duster comes in 4 colors.  I have shown two, the burnt orange and the white.  $15.96, this is a great price for an item you can wear all the time.  It also has pockets!

Time and Tru Cowl Neck Tunic Sweater

Let's give a standing ovation to this awesome sweater!  This piece is long, covers the tush and would complement most any body type.  I bought the black one and sized up one for a looser fit.  This makes a great teacher look because you can wear this so many ways!  Wear it with leggings and sneakers for those days you will be on your feet.  Pair it with jeans for Fridays.  Add a belt around the middle to dress it up. There are so many options for this top.  I would recommend wearing this with your hair up!  Why?? It gives your face a slimming look! There is already a lot going on with the cowl neck, so pull the hair back to show your face! This is $16.96, and comes 8 colors!!  So many to choose from!  The boots I am wearing in the picture can be found here!

Basically Hip Pocket Sweater

Add some fun to the wardrobe with Bellabird

It is always good to have some fun pieces hanging in the closet!  I like to keep a couple colorful or bold sweaters around to break up the every day look.  I recently stopped by Bellabird and came across these pretty little things.
Leopard is almost a staple right now.  There are so many fun leopard and snake skin prints our there it is hard to choose from.  The leopard sweater on the top left can be worn as a dress, with jeans or with leggings and sneakers.  It is fun and super flattering!
Hands down, one of the best tops I have put on in along time, is the Basically Hip Pocket Sweater on the right.  If I could own every color, I would!  Teachers, this should be in your closet.  Comfortable, easy to move it, light weight, and oh so cute, this piece is true to size.  You can wear this with a vest, leggings or jeans, and belt it for a dressier look.

Hats off to all you amazing teachers out there! Your days are hard and long, but we parents appreciate the love and knowledge you give everyday!!!  May your classroom be happy and your closet by comfy!!
