There is nothing that satisfies my appetite after a long run than a big load of carbohydrates!
A couple of years ago, I came across a banana bread recipe from Athlete Food. It looked super easy and yummy. I wanted to make the recipe a bit healthier than it showed, I substituted some of the original ingredients for cleaner options.

I hope you enjoy this banana bread! My girls eat this so well! We like to warm it up in the microwave, spread a little butter over it and slap on some natural peanut butter!
