For the past four years, I have put together a Travel Binder for my girls for our big beach trips.  The car ride is roughly 9-10 hours and keeping the storm at bay is no easy task.  I have found that these travel binders are the key!  The girls love them and look forward to them each year.
Most pages in the binder are free to print!  I really do not like spending a bunch of money on these because I know they will be thrown away as soon as we get home.  I found all of the printable sheets on Pinterest and all the random things, I bought either at Wal-Mart or Dollar Tree.  I used self-adhesive laminate pages to cover the activity sheets so they can be used over and over.
I also found stickers, coloring books, workbooks and other miscellaneous items to put in there as well.

The front cover of their binders my favorite part.  I want it fun and catchy.  This year I made my own, using Canva.  I love this website and they also have an APP that I use constantly for Instagram and Facebook.  How fun is this pink camper picture??  I made this printable and blank just for you!  Simply click on the pic to open your printable PDF!

Learn the 50 states!  There is a fun Fifty Nifty song on YouTube that my girls love.  It sings all the 50 states in a fun beat to help them memorize it. I really like the License plate game to go with it.  Not only will they learn to recognize the state shape, but also how it is spelled.

I used to love to play hangman.  I remember playing this in school with friends.  To print, click on the photos.

Car Bucks....The key to niceness

I found these gems on preparednotscared.blogspot.com They work like a charm!  When the girls are good or do an act of kindness to each other, they get a car buck.  If they are not nice or do something mean, I take one away.   At the end of the destination, they count up their bucks and I give them a surprise that is equivalent to that amount.  They love this!  I just print these off on regular paper and cut them out.

Travel activity cards!  I found these at Childhoodlol.com  These look super fun for my older two.  There are 32 different cards that you print and cut out.  Each card has them doing something fun and that uses their mind!  Visit the link up top or click photo to print your copy!
Road Trip Tags
Stephanie from Somewhat Simple created the cutest road trip tags.  These tags are placed on surprise bags for certain point during your trip.  You get 12 printable tags!  I found simple, but fun toys at the Dollar Tree for each bag!  The girls are so excited to open them!

Left: I found the blue bags at Wal-Mart for about .87 cents and the clear bags at Dollar Tree.  I put cheap lego sets in the clear bags with pencil erasers, post it notes and dry erase markers in the blue bags.

Camper lists

This year, I added two new lists to the camper.  One is a daily beach list of all things we need to drag through the sand lol!  Second, is a grocery list, separated into food categories ex. dairy, meat etc...

The world is such an awesome place and it is filled with a lot of great people. If I just wanted to experience something new, then I would have definitely gone to places. I mean, the world is too big for me. One lifetime is not nearly enough to travel the entire world. I wanted to travel the entire world if I could, that is just my dream. I will work hard so that I can travel the entire world.
